FIT4MOM Silicon Valley Central (FIT4MOM SVC), a thriving fitness and wellness community for moms, has been honored with the prestigious Village of the Year award at the 2025 FIT4MOM National Conference. This recognition celebrates the franchise’s unwavering dedication to empowering moms, fostering deep community connections, and creating a space where every mother feels supported and valued.
Since acquiring the franchise in June 2022, owner Rachel Kitt has cultivated a vibrant, inclusive village offering programs like Stroller Strides, Body Well, FIT4BABY, and Run Club+. In under three years, FIT4MOM SVC has become a cornerstone of the South Bay’s prenatal and postnatal community, partnering with organizations such as Blossom Birth & Family and The Nesting Spot, and is a proud member of the Perinatal Wellness Collective, a network of professionals in the South Bay dedicated to supporting prenatal and postnatal wellness.
Beyond fitness, the franchise hosts free, inclusive events, ensuring that every mom, regardless of financial circumstances, has access to a supportive village. These include monthly mom-only gatherings and book club, weekly playgroups, coffee chats with local professionals, among other community-wide events. With a firm belief that friendship and support should never be "pay to play," FIT4MOM SVC welcomes all moms to their village with open arms.
"As a first-time mom to a beautiful 4-month-old, I’ve only lived in San Jose for about two years, and I hadn’t found a community until I encountered FIT4MOM," shared Sierra, a FIT4MOM SVC member. "It has become a huge part of my everyday life. Without it, I know I would feel much more isolated during this challenging postpartum period. Finding such a supportive community of moms has made all the difference."
“I’m incredibly honored and humbled by this recognition,” said Rachel Kitt. “But the truth is, this award belongs to every single mama in our village. Your strength, your vulnerability, your laughter, and your support of one another—that’s what built this community. This is for all of you.”
